Soundbeam is a fascinating electronic instrument
which converts movement into sound, enabling people with limited
musical experience or a restrictive disability to take part
in music-making activities. Using similar technology to a
burglar alarm sensor, Soundbeam produces an invisible keyboard
in space which can be used to play melodies, chords, percussion
and sound effects.
I have experience facilitating in the following
contexts:-
early years settings
primary and secondary, mainstream and
special schools
hospitals
community centres
with adults who are isolated due to
a disability or mental illness.
